The Mysterious Castle in the Carpathians (Tajemství hradu v Karpatech, 1981)
A great old Czechoslovak comedy piece or rather a parody of Jules-Verne- like-stories and the whole image of the 19 th century as the century of positive progress. The Mysterious Castle in the Carpathians' plot includes a wealthy Baron Gorc , a crazy scientist and his inventions, and also the Duke Felix Teleke of Tölöke, who decides to investigate the mysteries and put things back into order.
