Three Wishes for Cinderella (Tři oříšky pro Popelku, 1973)

The last film this semester is going to be a fairy tale. Three Wishes for Cinderella has been shown on TV in the Czech Republic (and also in Slovakia) probably ever since the moment it was filmed - traditionally on December 24. Parts of the movie were filmed at Moritzburg Castle near Dresden and it's also popular in Germany. Three Wishes shows a classic Cinderella story - there is a young girl who is put upon by her step-mother and step-sister. Her life changes when she meets a handsome prince. She also has three wishes gained from three magic hazelnuts. Come and watch what we all have been watching since our early childhood!
