Dark Blue World (Tmavomodrý svět, 2001) is a movie about a friendship of two Czechoslovak fighter pilots in the United Kingdom during WW II, which becomes tested when they both fall for the same woman. It also describes the life of Czech fighter pilots community in the UK and their, often bitter, return back to Czechoslovakia after the war. Loved by Czech audience (n.1 in Czech cinema chart in 2001), awarded by film critics (won 4 Czech film prizes in 2001), this piece should definitely be on your Czech-movies list!
