Join IC CUNI for a day of hiking in the beautiful Kokořínsko protected landscape park. Only 40 km outside of Prague, the park features unusual sandstone formations, pretty lakes, and meadows. The natural beauty of this area provided a rich inspiration for the most famous romantic Czech poet Karel Hynek Mácha whose footsteps we will follow during the 13 km hike. The highlight of the trip will be a tour of hrad Kokořín, a medieval castle from 13th century, and a lunch at a stylish restaurant “Truhlárna”, featuring an art gallery, in the vicinity of the castle.
