It wasn’t chosen as a European City of Culture for the year 2015 for no reason. Pilsen is also center of Czech tradition of Puppetry and very famous city for its theatres. As abundant Jewish community used to live in the city, especially before the 2nd World War, you can find there the 2nd largest synagogue in all Europe.
