come canoeing with the International Club and learn what Czechs do in the summer!
Czechs love canoeing and we will be happy to teach you how to do it. Do not worry, it is not so hard. You will learn on the go and it´s not so hard. But swimming skills are a must. And what´s the plan? We will go down by the Vltava river from Vyšší Brod to Zlatá Koruna. Don´t worry, in those places Vltava is not as boring as you can see in Prague, but not too wild either. On the way, we will visit a beautiful city Český Krumlov which is listed on the UNESCO heritage.
BOATS
All of us will have the plastic canoes. Those boats are nearly indestructible and fast but slightly unstable . This way you can also experience what the Czech phrase “udělat se” to capsize – means. Our luggage will be transported between camps, so we can carry just a few needed things on the canoe.
DEPARTURE
On Thursday before lunch so we have time to train how to canoe before the adventure starts. For those who have exams/anything during the day or don´t need the training at all, a second group will leave on Thursday afternoon and meet the first one later. We will be back on Sunday evening.
ACCOMMODATION
We will sleep over in huts, so you don´t need to bring a tent but sleeping back is necessary.
PRICE: 1100 CZK, it includes:
- the transportation: Praha->Vyšší Brod and Zlatá Koruna-> Praha.

- ships rental (plastic boats including lifejackets, paddles and waterproof barrels)
